Are you fond of chocolates ? Here is a great chance for chocolates lovers to taste different types of chocolates in Colorado. Don't miss! The Colorado Chocolate Festival is being celebrated to celebrate the growing local industry.
The festival was started on Friday, May 6 and will be continued till Saturday, May 7. The event is expected to welcome 6,000-7,000 chocolate lovers during the two day festival. The participating chocolatiers will also provide over 80,000 samples to ticket buyers.
Event organizer Dana Cain said that, "When I first launched it, I was just shocked." " I didn't realize how, like that Field of Dreams quote, if you build it they will come. If you say chocolate, they will come."
"As far as the chocolate industry in the state, there are more chocolate companies now. Every year I get companies saying, 'We just started, this is our first festival.' It's definitely a growing thing," Cain said.
Julie Pech, owner of The Chocolate Therapist in downtown Littleton, said that, "Chocolate companies that innovate are the ones that will continue to succeed. If you're so set on what's going on, 'this is what I'm doing, I don't care who likes it,' they will have a little struggle."
