Dalai Lama to visit University of Colorado Boulder, tickets go on sale on April 28

The Nobel Peace Prize winner Dalai Lama is scheduled to visit the University of Colorado Boulder on June 23. Tickets will be available on Thursday, April 28, at 9 a.m. at the CU athletics website. It will cost $35 and $65.
The visit is sponsored by the CU-Boulder Cultural Events Board (CEB),CU-Boulder Student Government (CUSG) and the Tibetan Association of Colorado (http://coloradotibetans.org/).
The morning teaching session "Eight Verses of Training the Mind" will be hosted by the Tibetan Association. It is scheduled to be begin at 9:30 a.m. Another session "Educating the Heart and Mind" will be hosted by the university and will be funded by student fees and ticket sales. It is expected to be start at 1:30 pm.
According to organizers, the teachings of Dalai Lama are rooted in the importance of promoting wisdom, compassion, tolerance, religious harmony and self-discipline.
