Since the launch of Chandrayaan3 on July 14th ISRO is gripping towards its reach to the moon. This is the third biggest moon mission from Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). The Chandrayaan3 on Sunday successfully entered lunar orbit. If everything goes as per schedule, the spacecraft will land on Moon’s south pole between August 23rd and 24th.

Chandrayaan 3 is an extension of Chandrayaan2. The spacecraft is a propulsion module with a lander module and a rover. On August 17th the landing module will separate from the propulsion module.

The next orbit reduction manoeuvre will be on August 9th. ISRO is updating every piece of information through their social media handles. ISRO has also released a video of the Moon, which was taken by Chandrayaan3. In the video, the Moon is bluish-green in colour with many craters.

With this India will be the fourth country to have made this moon mission happen followed by the United States, China and the former Soviet Union. This mission is the master of our Indian technology.

Chandrayaan-1 happened in 2008 and unfortunately, Chandrayaan-2 was a failure on September 7th 2019, it crashed due to a failure in the braking system while attempting to land. Chandrayaan-3 was also postponed once due to a technical glitch and later the moon mission launched on 14th July 2023.
