An Amber Alert was issued for two boys, who were taken from their grandparent’s home in Englewood by their biological mother.

According to the police, Johnny Dinapoli 8 year old and Joesph Dinaplo 12 year old are believed to be in a silver or grey Chevy Equinox with their mother Rebecca Dinapoli driving. It has been reported that the car has a temporary tag with the 062272 V number and was driving towards Morrison.

Some person has reported to Denver police, sighting the Chevy Equinox near Santa Fe and Evans around 9:10 a.m.

Denver police said the boys were getting something from the car in the driveway of their grandparent’s home on the South Galapago Street in Englewood Sunday Morning. When their grandfather went on to check, he saw the Chevy Equinox driving out from the driveway.

Johnny Dinapoli is 3 feet 6 inches tall and has brown hair,brown eyes. He was last seen wearing black sweatpants.

Joseph Dinapoli is 4 feet 6 inches tall and has blue eyes,brown hair. He was last seen wearing a hoodie and grey sweatpants.

38-year-old Rebecca Dinapoli is 5 feet 6 inches tall and has blonde hair, blue eyes.

The grandfather told to the local Denver news that he does not believe Rebecca would harm the boys, but he also said that Rebecca had substance abuse issues.

He also said that Rebecca was upset that he had been granted temporary custody of the boys.

"There is an order from the court which prohibits Rebecca from having any contact with both Joseph and Johnny. Rebecca is known to abuse drugs and suffers from mental health issues," the Englewood Police Department said in a statement released at about 10:45 a.m. on Sunday. "Rebecca has ties to the States of Florida and New York; however, her direction of travel is unknown."
