Xiaomi Pad 8 was revealed in India on Tuesday as the newest Android tablet from the company. This tablet uses the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor and operates on Xiaomi HyperOS 3. It boasts a 3.2K screen with a 144Hz refresh rate and comes with a 9,200mAh battery that supports quick charging. The tablet is compatible with accessories like the Xiaomi Focus Pen Pro and keyboard attachments aimed at boosting productivity and creativity. In India, the starting price for the Xiaomi Pad 8 is Rs. 33,999 for the model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is available for Rs. 36,999, and the version with a Nano Texture display and 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage costs Rs. 38,999. Xiaomi has also released a Creator's Edition for Rs. 41,999, while the Nano Texture Creator's Edition is priced at Rs. 43,999. The Xiaomi Pad 8 will be offered in Graphite Grey and Titanium Blue colors and will be available for purchase starting March 17 at 12pm IST through Amazon, the Xiaomi India website, Xiaomi retail stores, and partner shops in India.
As part of the launch promotions, customers can get an immediate bank discount of Rs. 3,000 when using SBI credit card EMI options and Rs. 2,750 for complete payments. With these discounts, the effective starting price of the tablet can be lowered to Rs. 30,999. This bank offer is valid until March 31, 2026. Furthermore, anyone who buys the Xiaomi Pad 8 between March 17 and March 31 will receive an extra one-year warranty, excluding the battery.
