Tecno introduced the Spark Go 5G in India on Thursday. This smartphone runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor and has a large 6,000mAh battery. Tecno suggests it is the lightest and thinnest 5G phone in its category in the country. It has a single option with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, a 50-megapixel main rear camera powered by AI, supports the Ella AI voice assistant, and provides No Network Communication connectivity. It claims to deliver up to five years of smooth performance. The price of the Tecno Spark Go 5G in India is set at Rs. 9,999 for the 4GB + 128GB version. This phone will be available for sale through Flipkart starting August 21 at 12 pm IST. Color options include Ink Black, Sky Blue, and Turquoise Green.
The Tecno Spark Go 5G features a 6.76-inch HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 720x1,600 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is driven by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor along with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone runs on HiOS based on Android 15. Tecno's Spark Go 5G phones come with AI capabilities, including the Ella AI assistant that supports various Indian languages like Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, and Bangla. The device will also have AI functions like the AI Writing Assistant and Google's Circle to Search feature. In terms of photography, the Tecno Spark Go 5G has a 50-megapixel main rear camera with AI features, an LED flash, and a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies and video chats. The rear camera can record 2K videos at 30 frames per second. The Spark Go 5G is touted as the first phone in its category that supports 4X4 MIMO technology, using four antennas to send and receive data simultaneously, enhancing network speed by as much as 73 percent. The phone also includes Tecno's No Network Communication feature, which allows certain Tecno users to make calls or send messages without cellular service, similar to the Spark Go 2.

Connectivity options are 5G, 4G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. It is also fitted with an IR blaster. The phone has a thickness of 7.99mm and weighs 194g.
