KGF: Chapter 2 is now the second biggest hit of Bollywood and the film stands next to Baahubali: The Conclusion. KGF: Chapter 2 surpassed the lifetime numbers of Dangal in Hindi and it is inching towards Rs 400 mark in Bollywood. The film also dominated the new releases over the weekend and on the Eid holiday. South Indian films Baahubali: The Conclusion and KGF: Chapter 2 are the biggest hits in Hindi now. They crossed the lifetime grossers of several top Bollywood actors.
On the other side, several prominent films like Jersey, Runway 34 and Heropanti 2 failed to collect decent numbers at the box-office. Bollywood is puzzled and shocked by the box-office performance of Hindi movies. When South Indian films are faring well, Bollywood biggies are struggling to report minimum footfalls on weekends, weekdays and holidays.
