81 years old woman killed two teens in Denver crash died

The 81 years old woman who was accused of several charges in a Denver crash earlier this month that left a 14 years old boy dead has died. Kimbrough, spokeswoman for the Denver District Attorney’s Office said on Monday morning, “as a result, the case against her will be dismissed,” .

The city’s medical examiner’s office informed that it was notified of Livingston’s death on Saturday night. She died at Denver Hospice Inpatient Care Center, and the cause was pending investigation.

The office said that Livingston’s death followed her “originally (being) involved” in the crash.

Livingston was suspected of careless driving which resulted in death and careless driving resulted in injury for the July 13 wreck that left 14 years old Cole Sukle dead and his 13 years old friend hurt. Police said last week that she remained hospitalized on July 18.

Theresa Ahrens, a university spokeswoman, said last week, “She served on our board of trustees from 1982 until just earlier this year. She was a trustee until the end of June.”

Cole Sukle remembered over the weekend at a vigil and funeral Mass. His father said that the teen was an avid baseball and football player who could do friendship with anyone.

The July 13 collision had far-reaching resonance in the city, clashing together two families with deep ties in the community. Cole was set to begin eighth grade at the Slavens School and was looking forward to follow his older brother’s footsteps at Littleton High School.

Livingston’s family tried to take precautions to limit Livingston’s driving after she was accused in a hit-and-run crash in October. Police informed that Livingston hit Cole near the intersection of South Madison Street and East Yale Way.
