Analysis

Manu Movie Review, Rating, Story, Cast and Crew

Manu starts on an exciting and interesting note. The audience gets thrilled with the new age narration and top notch technical aspects. Soon the film smells predictable and turns a boring feast. Most of the scenes looked dragged and they take too much time to be narrated. The first half of Manu appeals to a section of audience who get convinced with the presentation though the film lacks enough stuff.

The second half of Manu tests the patience of the audience. With no exciting stuff, the narration goes on snail pace and most of the episodes look dragged. Though the love story starts on a fresh note, it turns boring and predictable. The climax looks outdated and is extremely simple. The second half turns out to be a huge threat for Manu and is a huge disappointment.

Performance

Raja Gautham who tested his luck several times will have to wait for one more film to taste success. He has been decent and performed well as Manu in the film. Chandini Chowdary too delivers a decent performance throughout. She has been decent and performed well in the romantic drama. All the new actors have been apt and the director managed to pull out some decent performances from the fresh faces.

The story of Manu has nothing new and exciting on board. The screenplay and dialogues make the film even dull and uninteresting. The music and the background score stands out. The cinematography is the major highlight of Manu. The production values have been grand and the director fails to churn Manu into an interesting spine thrilling film.

Final Word

The first crowd funded Telugu film Manu falls out badly because of the poor content and pale narration. It can be given a skip.
