The producer during his several interviews said that he would make a sequel for Jagadekaveerudu Athilokasundari. The discussion saw light when Chiranjeevi made his comeback with Khaidi No 150.

Now during his recent interview, Ashwini Dutt said that the plans for the sequel for Jagadekaveerudu Athilokasundari are still on. He said that he would retire from Tollywood and films after he completes the sequel for Jagadekaveerudu Athilokasundari. It is unclear if Megastar Chiranjeevi plays the lead role in the sequel too. There are speculations that Nag Ashwin is penning the script for the sequel of Jagadekaveerudu Athilokasundari. He will start working on the project after he is done with Prabhas's film.
