12th Fail becomes the top rated Indian Film

Vikrant Massey is riding a wave of success after his recent release, the biographical drama 12th Fail, received widespread acclaim. Directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, the film has made a significant impact since its debut on OTT platforms. Starring Medha Shankar, Sanjay Bishnoi, Anshumaan Pushkar, and others in pivotal roles, it has generated buzz on social media and become the highest-rated Indian film on IMDb.

Vidhu Vinod Chopra's latest directorial venture, 12th Fail, featuring Vikrant Massey, has soared to the top spot on IMDb's list of the top 250 Indian films. With an impressive rating of 9.2 out of 10, it has clinched the coveted position. Notably, the other films in the top five include the animated film Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama (1993), Nayakan by Mani Ratnam, Gol Maal by Hrishikesh Mukherjee, and Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, which marks R Madhavan's directorial debut.

It is worth mentioning that 12th Fail has surpassed several highly acclaimed Hollywood blockbusters, including Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, which holds a rating of 8.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 holds a rating of 8.4, while Killers of the Flower Moon by Martin Scorsese and John Wick: Chapter 4 both have ratings of 7.7. Greta Gerwig's Barbie, starring Margot Robbie, has a rating of 6.9.

Vidhu Vinod Chopra's 12th Fail, a highly acclaimed film, is based on Anurag Pathak's book of the same name. It tells the story of IPS Manoj Sharma and his wife Shraddha Joshi. The movie, which achieved both critical and commercial success, premiered in theaters on October 27 and is currently available for streaming on Disney+Hostar.

During an interview, Vikrant shared his positive experience of working with Vinod Chopra, stating that it was the best working experience he has had. He believes that they complement each other well as actor and director, and he is proud to say that Chopra has mentored him in various ways.
